It is the "spirit of inquiry" that is our "product."

The company was born in 1966, when the high-growth period of the Japanese economy had already begun and the Japanese steel industry was making rapid progress. In anticipation of ever-increasing demand from the industry in the future, we started the production of additives for steel making via the continuous casting process, for the first time in Japan.
At the time of founding the company, we introduced cutting-edge technology from Germany, a country very advanced in steel making, which was not yet available in Japan. We added our own technology to it. This company was born from our strong will to tackle the development of new technologies in an effort to meet our customers' needs. While executing on our responsibility as the pioneer of additives for continuous casting,

we have been flexibly responding, as a pioneer of new technology, to various demands from the constantly advancing industry, including things like starting the magnesium metal business in 1966. Without forgetting the "frontier spirit" from the founding of the company, all staff members are making efforts to improve product quality through the development of technologies, by placing importance on curiosity, having an adventurous spirit and an inquiring mind. Going forward, with the originality and ingenuity typical of this company that started from nothing, we are determined to contribute to society through environmentally-friendly business activities, a major challenge for the industry.
